Voice Recorder (German + English)

micro1 is engaging expert German bilingual speakers to contribute to a leading-edge audio project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required, your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Record yourself reading provided sentences in your native language (German) and in English, following specific project guidelines.
• Listen to and annotate audio clips, providing precise transcriptions and feedback on pronunciation and clarity.
• Create controlled background sounds (such as stationary car environment or office noise) as required by the assignment while ensuring all recordings are from a stationary location.
• Label and organize audio files, ensuring accurate metadata tagging and adherence to the platform’s submission standards.
• Participate in ongoing speech data collection initiatives, supporting the development, training, and evaluation of AI speech and language systems.
• Comply with project requirements regarding the privacy, storage, and intended use of voice recordings, ensuring all consent and data guidelines are met.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in German, with clear articulation and excellent pronunciation.
• At least B2-level proficiency in English to support bilingual assignments and instructions.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and meet project specifications for audio quality and content.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setting and managing your own workflow for assigned tasks.
• Attention to detail, especially regarding pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.
