Terms and refunds
Terms in plain language for the two things this site does: listing jobs and selling training. Using the site means you accept them.
What we sell
Digital training you work through at your own pace, about AI data annotation, model evaluation, and related work. Courses are written by DataAnnotationJobs.org. Payment is handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card details.
Access is delivered as a link after purchase, sent both on the confirmation page and in your Stripe receipt. Access is for you personally. Please do not republish or resell the material.
What courses do not promise
- No course guarantees a job, an interview, a contract, or any level of earnings.
- No course guarantees you will pass an employer's qualification test. We are not involved in any employer's hiring or assessment process.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for Scale AI, Surge AI, Mercor, Micro1, DataAnnotation.tech, or any other company listed on this site.
- Pay ranges quoted anywhere on this site are observed or estimated market figures, not an offer.
Certificates
Certificates are issued by DataAnnotationJobs.org on completion of an assessed capstone. They are not an accredited qualification, they are not issued or recognised by any employer or educational institution, and no employer is obliged to accept one. Treat a certificate as evidence that you completed our assessment, nothing more.
Refunds
The short version
If a course is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it.
Detail
- Requests within 14 days of purchase are refunded to the original payment method. Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
- We may decline a refund where the material has been substantially downloaded or redistributed, or where a certificate has already been issued.
- To request one, use the contact page from the email address you paid with, so we can find the transaction.
- Free courses involve no payment, so nothing is refundable and you can stop at any time.
Job listings
Listings are collected from a maintained feed and link out to the employer. We are not the employer, we do not issue contracts or paychecks, and we do not verify that a role is still open when you click. Full detail on sourcing is in how listings work.
The free assessment
The multiple choice part of the skills assessment runs entirely in your browser and is not stored or transmitted. The clip test at the end is submitted to us with your contact details, and we review it to suggest roles. The score is a way to check yourself rather than a credential, and it is not the test any employer uses.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms, course contents, and prices. Changes to terms do not affect a purchase you have already made. Questions go to the contact page, and how we handle data is covered in the privacy policy.
