About this role

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Bulgarian Specialist to help train AI models. You’ll test how well the models understand and write in Bulgarian, check their reasoning, and help raise the quality of each new version.

This is a new area for our company: teaching AI to communicate naturally in Bulgarian, with the grammar, tone, and cultural knowledge of a native speaker.

What you’ll actually do

  • Write prompts in Bulgarian on a wide range of everyday and specialized topics.
  • Review AI responses for grammar, fluency, and natural phrasing, and check that they reflect local culture and current context.
  • Compare model responses side by side and choose the stronger one.
  • Translate between Bulgarian and English while preserving meaning and tone.
  • Fact-check AI responses and flag anything inaccurate or misleading.

Roles this fits

Common backgrounds: Bulgarian Specialist, Bulgarian Translator, Bilingual Tutor.

What we look for

  • Native or near-native fluency in Bulgarian.
  • Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
  • Strong writing skills in both languages, with close attention to detail.
  • A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Up to $40/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $100k to $200k a year; some make it their full-time income.
