Compliance Officer

Overview

Ask a model about a regulatory obligation and it answers with confidence, then cites a rule that was superseded two years ago, blurs the line between binding regulation and informal guidance, and applies a European regime to a US filing. Reporting thresholds come out wrong. Someone who lives in these rules is who catches it, and that someone is you.

As a Compliance Officer you'll evaluate AI answers on regulatory analysis, policy, and reporting obligations, check them against the rules as they stand today, and write the guidance a seasoned compliance professional would give.

What you’ll actually do

• Draft prompts that probe regulatory analysis, policy interpretation, and reporting obligations across regimes.
• Review AI output for superseded rules, conflated jurisdictions, wrong thresholds, and guidance treated as binding law, and rate the reasoning.
• Write the correct analysis when the model falls short, grounded in the current regulatory text.

Compensation

$75 to $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k to $100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
