Credit Analyst

Overview

Models approve a borrower that any underwriter would flag: cash-flow coverage computed off the wrong line, covenants that don't bite, a rating that ignores where we are in the cycle. Someone has to find the default risk hiding in a clean-looking spread, and that someone is you.

As a Credit Analyst you'll evaluate AI-built underwriting and credit analysis, check the coverage and the risk, and write the judgments that teach models how lending decisions are really made.

What you’ll actually do

• Underwrite AI credit analysis: cash-flow coverage, leverage, and the ability to actually service the debt.
• Test the risk assessment: covenants, collateral, and the downside the model rated away.
• Write the credit decision when the model falls short, with the reasoning a credit committee expects.

What we look for

• Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or credit risk.
• Fluency reading financial statements and structuring or assessing debt.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Compensation

$75 to $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k to $100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
