About this role

Overview

Thai gives AI little room: words run together without spaces, tone carries meaning, and the politeness particles shift with who is speaking. The model often reaches for formal or royal vocabulary where plain speech belongs, or the reverse, in ways a native reader spots instantly.

As a Thai Expert, you'll judge and correct AI output in Thai, teaching models to match everyday tone and politeness.

What you’ll actually do

  • Review translations between English and Thai for meaning, flow, and the right politeness particles.
  • Score and rank model output in Thai, catching the wrong register and unnatural word breaks.
  • Write the better version when the model misses, natural enough to read as native.

Roles this fits

Common backgrounds: Thai Linguist, Bilingual Reviewer, Localization Specialist.

What we look for

  • Native or near-native fluency in Thai.
  • A feel for register, from plain speech to formal vocabulary.
  • Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
  • No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Compensation

$25 to $40/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k to $100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
