About this role

Overview

Models talk about markets like a textbook and trade like they've never been filled: a strategy that ignores the bid-ask, a hedge that's wrong by a Greek, position sizing with no respect for slippage or where the liquidity actually is. Someone has to know how the trade behaves when real size hits the tape, and that someone is you.

As a Trader you'll evaluate AI reasoning about markets, execution, and strategy, check the mechanics that only show up on a live desk, and write the judgments that teach models how trading actually works.

What you’ll actually do

  • Evaluate AI trading strategies: the edge, the risk, and whether it survives real execution.
  • Check the market mechanics: spreads, slippage, hedging, and the liquidity assumptions the model glosses over.
  • Write the desk-grade answer when the model falls short, with the risk and execution detail a live book demands.

Roles this fits

Common backgrounds: Trader, Execution Trader, Market Maker.

What we look for

  • Experience trading or making markets, professionally or in serious personal work.
  • Fluency with market microstructure, execution, and risk.
  • Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
  • No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Compensation

$75 to $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k to $100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
